Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty 'Spoiler' Teases A Possible Future Magic: The Gathering Set

Wizards of the Coast already announced the Standard-legal Magic: The Gathering sets coming next year, but there's a rumored future cyberpunk-themed Kamigawa set, and now we might have a possible name thanks to recent finding.

According to an anonymous source from Tumblr, this set will be called Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, an expansion set in Kamigawa, the plane inspired by Japanese shinto mythology, but this time, it's reportedly set in the future, and it will feature cyberpunk themes.

What's his evidence to this claim? He points out that "WHOIS is a public domain name registry. NetworkSolutions is the registrar historically used by Wizards to register their domains." He shared a screenshot of the four dominains registered on Oct. 12:

The source also pointed out a public Magic survey that featured multiple pieces of Planeswalker art with descriptions referencing a future Kamigawa. The Planeswalkers are described to be ninja-like with telekinetic powers.

If this is actually true, it's likely that Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty will be released in 2022 since the company already announced the new MTG sets coming next year.
