Attack on Titan Final Manga Chapter Sells Out Magazines in Japan, Reprints Coming


The final manga chapter of Attack on Titan is selling out magazines all over Japan. After a nearly twelve year run, series creator Hajime Isayama wrapped up Attack on Titan with Chapter 139 in the latest issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine.

The final Attack on Titan chapter has become a huge hit in Japan, and thanks to the manga's success, the latest issue of the magazine featuring it is selling out, and Kodansha is doing something rare. The official Twitter account of the series announced that a reprint of the issue featuring Attack on Titan's final chapter is already ordered for April 30, 2021 in Japan.

Despite the mix reviews on the ending of Attack on Titan, the fact that the final chapter helped sell out the latest issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine shows how highly-anticipated the finale is.
