Concept Art For The Marvel Easter Egg in Deadpool Revealed

Spoiler alert: If you haven't seen the Deadpool movie, you might consider this a spoiler, so don't read further if you despise spoilers.

At the end of the film, there's an epic fight scene between Deadpool and Ajax on what seemed to be a giant Helicarrier. While a lot of fans weren't sure if it was indeed a Helcarrier, well according to concept artist Emmanuel Shiu (via io9), it was, and he said that he "was asked to redesign the Helicarrier so it looked as different as possible from the one in The Avengers. And it had to look like it had been taken apart in some places". You can check out the concept art he did for the carrier below.

I hope Deadpool and the rest of the 20th Century Fox-owned Marvel characters will join with the Marvel Cinematic Universe at some point.
