The Umbrella Academy Season 2 finale left a lot of fans intrigued when it was revealed that another superhero academy exists. Now, ahead of Season 3's grand premiere later this year, Netflix has unveiled additional cast members who will make up the Sparrow Academy.
According to a press release distributed by the hit streaming service, the Sparrow Academy will consist of six actors. Justin Cornwell, Britne Oldford, Jake Epstein, Genesis Rodriguez, and Cazzie David have all been tapped to appear on the show's upcoming season to serve as newcomers to the fan-favorite Netflix show while Justin H. Min is set to make his return as Ben.
To those unaware of the superhero team's origins, the Sparrow Academy consists of seven extraordinarily gifted children born on the same day and adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves following a drastic change in the timeline brought upon by their counterparts, the Umbrella Academy. Interestingly, Season 3's version of the Sparrows will only feature six members as opposed to the original seven. Whether that was intentional or not still remains to be seen.
The Umbrella Academy Season 3 will begin filming this February.
