The Mandalorian star and WWE's resident "Boss" Sasha Banks is currently the talk of the wrestling world after she no-showed the company's second-biggest PPV of the year SummerSlam. The multi-time Women's champion was set to face Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women's title at the spectacle but it was announced last minute that she'll be unable to compete for reasons unbeknownst to many.

PWInsider reported last week that both Banks and Belair missed two consecutive WWE house shows due to "unforeseen circumstances". WWE officials didn't offer an official statement regarding the matter which caused a lot of suspicions online ahead of their SummerSlam clash. However, Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer speculates that Banks might have contracted COVID-19 and the company chose not to disclose it. Banks has been inactive on social media as of late.

If you may recall, Banks recently caught fire for allegedly supporting anti-vaccination but her stand regarding the matter was never confirmed. Now, if the rumors of her being an anti-vaxxer and having COVID are true, it'll be interesting to see how her opinion towards vaccines will change. For now, we hope she's actually doing well and we're wishing for her to have a speedy is she did in fact contract the virus. Having COVID is no laughing matter whether you're feeling the symptoms or not.

Meanwhile, Banks' Star Wars status remains unclear but given the fact that Bo-Katan is expected to return in The MandalorianSeason 3 and possibly more spinoff projects, it's safe to assume that Koska Reeves will also be returning to the franchise.

The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to begin production in September.
