I'm not gonna lie, the unprecedented success of the Snyder Cut movement still gives me chills whenever I think about it and it's just so amazing how fans were able to rally behind Zack Snyder and turn his vision for Justice League from a mere myth to a reality a lot of us are now relishing four years later.

Now, some of you may be thinking that it's the end of the line for the director but the movement has only just begun. Following the triumph of the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut campaign, fans have launched a new movement demanding Warner Bros. to allow Snyder to continue working on his Justice League trilogy.

After the Snyder Cut received positive reviews from fans and critics alike upon its release, a new social media campaign called the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse movement was launched last week and just days after Justice League's HBO Max premiere, the new movement is already setting records on Twitter.

In fact, the hashtag #RestoreTheSnyderVerse demolished a Twitter record for the highest number of tweets for a topic previously set by Avengers: Endgame in 2019. As of writing, the movement has already crossed 1.5 million tweets and counting in less than 24 hours, officially besting Endgame's previous record of 1.4 million tweets, proving that fans are really adamant about seeing Snyder's Justice League legacy continue.

It's an astonishing feat for sure but it will be interesting if this new movement will once again triumph amidst Warner Bros.' latest declaration that they're moving on with their own DC Extended Universe plans. If anything, now's the time for the studio to finally prove that they in fact listen to fans. The project's online presence is just too much for them to ignore anyway so the smartest thing to do from a business standpoint is to give us what we truly want.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is now available for streaming on HBO Max.
