United Airlines Makes Use of Spider-Man for Their (Weird) New Safety Video

Nowadays, films have been promoting themselves with more than just trailers or posters. Sometimes, movie promotion can find its way to airline safety videos, and United just released their video featuring Spider-Man from Far from Home.

A proud promotional partner of the upcoming Columbia Pictures releases Spider-Man: Far From Home, in association with Marvel Studios, we decided to infuse our new safety video with a little movie magic airing on select aircraft now. Catch Spider-Man: Far From Home in theaters this July.

With Peter Parker already going on a trip in the film, you'd think they could have found a way to just have a video with Peter and his friends. By the looks of it, they didn't have the budget to hire the actors, so they decided to just bring in Mr. Delmar from the films. It's weird that we should be getting advice on how to behave in the plane inside a sandwich shop.

I guess they were also able to get Flash Thompson to make an appearance, but who really wants more of him?

For now, I guess it's just a silly promotion for the film. I guess it's better than a new trailer that gives away the entire plot of the movie like with Homecoming. Hopefully, Sony doesn't manage to botch things up in the time between now and the release of Far from Home.

Catch Spider-Man: Far from Home when it hits theaters July 2.
