The Batman: Possible First Look at Robert Pattinson's Batsuit

We've known for months now that Robert Pattinson will be taking on the role of Caped Crusader in Matt Reeves' The Batman, but we have yet to see him in full costume. While we wait for WB to make their official reveal, an alleged leak of the suit has apparently come out online.

Check out what could possibly be Pattinson in the new batsuit here.

If this is legitimate, the suit seems to be inspired by Lee Bermejo's design from Batman: Noel, what with the cowl going all the way to Batman's shoulders. Then again, this could be just concept art, but it certainly is a new look compared to Batfleck from Justice League and Batman v Superman.

Though the design does look great, we have to remember to take this news with a grain of salt. I've been doing some searching, and so far and it doesn't seem like skin from any of the Arkham games. Either way, it doesn't seem to be a photo of Pattinson in the suit, but rather just a rendition.

With the universe of The Batman taking place outside of the main established timeline of the DCEU, Reeves better do his best to tell audiences that this is a different iteration from Batfleck. If the recast characters aren't a giveaway enough, then maybe the way this Batman looks (plus the rest of his gadgets) should be able to tell fans that this universe is different—much like what happened with Todd Phillips' Joker.

For now, The Batman is set for a release on June 25, 2021.
