If you recall in Homecoming, Tony Stark had actually sold off Avengers tower to an anonymous buyer, and my speculation is that this was the MCU slowly converting the tower into the Baxter Building a.k.a. the headquarters of the Fantastic Four.

We don't know what exactly Marvel's plans with the Fantastic Four and X-men are after the Disney/Fox merger, but I would guess that they would be prepared as early as now. Development for the new X-Men is set to start early this year, but I would be fine if we got a Fantastic Four movie first.

Then again, this is all just speculation on my part. What if Avengers Tower becomes a new building for Oscorp? There are so many other options that are possible. I'm just into the idea that the Fantastic Four would take over what used to belong to the Avengers. The tech is all there, and who better to take over than a bunch of new heroes?

Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter's plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!

Spider-Man: Far from Home hits theaters July 5.
