New Featurette for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald Gives More on the Plot

One of the highest anticipated movies of the year is Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and the movie is set to come out next month. WB has just dropped a new featurette, and it gives us a lot more new visuals plus more on the story courtesy of J.K. Rowling.

As per the video, we'll be following Grindelwald after his arrest from the first movie. He was apparently being transported back to Europe to answer for his crimes there, but he ends up ultimately escaping. This will then lead to Dumbledore asking for the help of Newt in taking him down.

We also get more on Credence and his story, and I'm starting to wonder if he's more than meets the eye. For one, Rowling says that Credence is the main reason why everyone is going to Europe and there's something about him ‘finding out who he is.' Granted he also has a close relationship with the human Nagini, I'm starting to get convinced that he's Voldemort with his memories wiped—or something like that.

Though Fantastic Beasts hasn't come out as popular as Harry Potter, a lot of Potterheads are just happy to be back in the Wizarding World. For one, the expansion of the universe is still fun to watch, and the new characters are great. I'm just hoping that director David Yates actually gives the helm of some of the movies to someone else. Surely he's tired of directing HP films since Order of the Phoenix.

Catch Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald when it hits theaters Nov. 13.
