Barry Allen with Michael Keaton’s Batman in Concept Art from The Flash

For a movie about the Fastest Man Alive, The Flash sure has been taking its time to get to theaters. With IT director Andy Muschietti onboard though, the film is finally moving forward, and we got some big reveals at DC FanDome. We know that Michael Keaton's Batman is supposed to be in the film, and we have some fantastic concept art of Barry standing with the 80s' Dark Knight.

It's worth noting that Flash has a new suit in this film, and it's confirmed to have been given by Bruce Wayne. With Bruce making comments about how his Justice League suit was scrapped together, it's interesting to see Flash done a suit that looks a lot more ‘professional.' Then again, it kind of feels like another Spider-Man/Iron Man moment where the rich billionaire gives a technologically advanced suit to the young hero who is just scraping by.

Going to Keaton's look though, it looks like the movie could be using his old suit from the films. Personally, I would like to see an updated version, but maybe the film could be like Rogue One and subtly tweak the suit while at the same time actually modernize the design.

While COVID-19 has effectively shut everything down, productions have been slowly getting back into gear. Sooner or later we're just going to get news that the cameras have started rolling for The Flash.

Andy Muschietti's The Flash is set to come out on June 2, 2022.
