Agent Carter Makes Its Way To Hulu

It looks like Marvel fans are going to get the chance to watch Marvel Television and ABC's Agent Carter series on Hulu.

Hulu has just announced today the acquisition of exclusive subscription streaming rights to the entire series of Agent Carter, a Marvel series starring Marvel Cinematic Universe star Hayley Atwell who played the part of SSR Agent Peggy Carter in both Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier as well as the short film Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter.

Set in the post-World War II era of the MCU, Agent Carter began in 1946 and started out with Peggy struggling to adjust with society after the war. The agent finds herself marginalized by the men returning home from the war, even by those within the SSR. Eventually, Carter finds an escape from desk duty after she hears that Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) was being framed for selling deadly weapons. The series goes on from there, running for two seasons before being axed by ABC.

Now that the series is going to Hulu, fans can rekindle their hopes of Agent Carter being revived. After all, the online streaming site is home to its own Marvel Television original series, the Runaways. If Agent Carter tracks well enough on the site, then Hulu might actually consider investing in a series revival.
