Zom 100 quickly became one of the biggest shows of the Summer 23 season following its entertaining first episode, but it seems the hype train has been derailed. Recently, Zom 100 announced yet another delay, and this time, Episode 6 will be moved.
This new delay is the third consecutive episode that got its release date postponed, essentially proving that the show is the most cursed anime of the season, at least when it comes to its schedule.
Zom 100 Already Suffered Multiple Delays
2023 began with a winter anime season that was plagued with numerous major delays for shows such as Ayakashi Triangle and NieR: Automata Ver1.1a. Pretty much all the delayed shows of that season blamed COVID.
In the following Spring 23 season, it seemed that things were finally back to normal. At least, that’s what it seemed like in the beginning.
During the season’s second half, big titles like Oshi no Ko, Mashle, and Hell’s Paradise got hit by one-week delays. Though at least these delays weren’t as bad as the previous season.
Now that we’re in the Summer 23 season, the delays have kept coming. For starters, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 got a three-week hiatus following its fifth episode.
That’s not the worst-hit show though, as Zom 100 has already gotten two delays before this latest one. It started with Episode 4 which got delayed by a day on streaming platforms.
Next, the show’s fifth episode was delayed by one week, with its original timeslot being occupied by a special program instead.

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Episode 6 Delayed by a Week
Instead of breathing a sigh of relief, Zom 100 fans were greeted with yet another delay announcement. This time, it was revealed that the show’s next episode will once again be delayed by a week.
The delay announcement was made via the show’s official Twitter account. It was revealed there that the delay was due to the 2023 World Athletics Championships which will air in the anime’s usual timeslot.
It seems that this delay is not due to production issues but is instead because of a live sporting event.
Still, the hope is that the delay will give the staff more time to work on the show so that no more delays happen.
Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Episode 6 will be released on August 20, 2023.
