ZEROBASEONE decided on what it would call its fan club.

After weeks of challenging contestants, Mnet selected nine out of 98 participants to debut in the project boy group, ZEROBASEONE/ZB1. The nine winners include Park Gun Wook, Han Yu Jin, Seok Matthew, Kim Ji Woong, Kim Tae Rae, Ricky, Zhang Hao, Kim Gyu Vin, and Sung Han Bin.

ZEROBASEONE will perform at KCON Japan 2023 ahead of its debut. Most recently, it revealed what it would call its fans and announced its official fan club name.

ZEROBASEONE Reveals Fan Club Name

On Monday, ZEROBASEONE held a live stream through Mnet Plus to mark the opening of the boy group's community on the platform. The nine members introduced themselves and showed the group's official greeting.

After answering some fan questions, it also disclosed that its fans would be called ZEROSE.

The official fan club name is a combination of the words zero and rose.

Kim Ji Woong explained further how special the name is and the shortened name ZB1, which is read in Korean as "ze-be-one."

If you take 'ze-be-one' out of ZEROBASEONE, you're left with 'rose.' So if you combine ZB1 with rose, you get ZEROBASEONE. It captures the meaning that us ZB1 and rose are one," he said.

The announcement was made after WAKEONE Entertainment revealed that ZEROBASEONE is already gearing up to debut around the middle of 2023. The agency said it would release more details once the exact schedule has been selected.

ZEROBASEONE Agency Pledges To Protect Its Members

On the same day, the ZEROBASEONE agency posted a notice on its fan community regarding offline fan etiquette for the boy group. It warned of penalties for those who would violate the rules and how it could lead to being permanently blacklisted.

One of the etiquettes includes respecting ZEROBASEONE members' privacy and visiting them during private schedules.
