Zack Snyder's time in the DC Extended Universe may be up in smoke but that's not to say that his career as a filmmaker is done. Following the success of his Netflix movie Army of the Dead starring Dave Bautista, the streaming giant is once again handing over the reins to the Justice League director to helm one of his passion projects — a film that was originally intended to be a Star Wars movie.

Yesterday, Zack took to social media to excitingly share more details about his new film Rebel Moon which will serve as his reunion project with Justice League star Ray Fisher. However, that may not be the only DCEU connection the film has and fans are convinced that one of the film's main villains actually draws huge inspiration from a DC executive.

Following the cast reveal, The Illuminerdi released character descriptions for the upcoming science-fiction epic and one villain in particular seems to take a dig at DC Films President Walter Hamada. Apparently, Rebel Moon features a big bad named "Harmada", a lethal and ageless half-woman spider who preys on vulnerable children as twisted vengeance for the loss of her own.

Well, considering Snyder and Hamada have reportedly never seen eye-to-eye with a lot of things, it shouldn't come as a surprise if Zack actually named "Harmada" after the DC Films executive on purpose just to troll him. And with the director being unceremoniously ousted from the DCEU, taking a jab at his former colleague serves as his own form of revenge but then again, there's also a chance that it could be all coincidental.

Other details about Rebel Moon are still being kept under wraps.
