Zack Snyder’s Response To Wonder Woman’s Justice League Outfit Confirms Changes During The Film’s Reshoots

While DC fans have a lot of issues with the DC Extended Universe's Justice League movie, one of the fanbase's most significant point of contention is the way the film objectified Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman. Not only did the film subject the Amazon Princess to crude sexualized jokes in the DC crossover movie, but it also put Diana in a rather skimpy outfit that didn't serve any practical use to the hero.

Now, taking to Vero, Justice League director Zack Snyder questions the source of a Justice League Wonder Woman image that was posted on the social media site, confirming that the director had no knowledge of the production using the outfit for the movie.

Earlier today, a fan decided to post a picture of Wonder Woman in Justice League and ask Snyder whether he was responsible for the hero's costume design. Snyder replied "What is this from," a question that confirms that Wonder Woman's outfit was created during the film's reshoots when Snyder had to walk away from the production to mourn the death of his daughter.

Warner Brothers had Joss Whedon come in and complete the reshoots for the film, and while many were hoping that the Marvel director would add just the right amount of levity into the movie, the director changed multiple aspects of the film instead. This includes Diana's outfit for the movie.

At the end of it all, Justice League turned out to be a massive flop, with many fans calling for the original cut by Snyder. Unfortunately, the Snyder cut may never see release till Warner Brothers decides to let the public know how much it messed up by interfering with Snyder's work on the movie. Guess we'll just have to be content with what we have right now – a poorly created Justice League.
