Zack Snyder Wanted to Introduce Carrie Kelley's Robin to the DCEU

A lot of people were sure that the Robin suit in Batman v Superman was Jason Todd's but Zack Snyder has confirmed that this was supposed to be the first Robin, Dick Grayson. With Grayson dead in Snyder's planned out universe, he then confirmed that he had plans to introduce another Robin, Carrie Kelley.

When asked by a fan on Vero (via Batman-News) what he wanted to do with a dead Dick Grayson, Snyder simply said he wanted Dick to:

"stay dead… till Carrie."

Though I would have loved to see Carrie Kelley come to life onscreen, I think that it's too much a waste of character to have Dick Grayson killed off like that. With a Nightwing movie in the works, that suit could have very well just be Jason Todd's.

To those people who don't know Carrie, she was a girl who took up the Robin mantle in The Dark Knight Returns after she saved Batman from a beating.

For all this clamoring for the Snyder Cut of Justice League, you have to admit that Snyder still has some questionable decisions when it came to his DC Universe. Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor is a lot closer to the Joker, and he decided to off longtime Superman character Jimmy Olsen. Not to mention he blew his wad too early with Doomsday.

Though a lot of people reacted positively to Ben Affleck's Batman, updates on the solo movie have been very sparse. At some point, I'm actually just waiting for Matt Reeves to just say he quit the project. Then again, maybe an announcement could just be right around the corner.
