Zack Snyder Shows Appreciation for Fans Who Demanded the Snyder Cut

It's been more than a year since the release of Justice League, and even until now there are some fans who are still demanding Zack Snyder's original cut of the film. Though Snyder had been coy about fan support for his version, now he's actually shown his appreciation for the fans who have been behind him this whole time.

Check out this post which Snyder shared on VERO (via Reddit) of a banner that was hired to advertise ‘Release the Snyder Cut':

As it turns out, the banner was a result of a charity drive for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. As it turns out, the fundraiser donated the money to the AFSP and then the rest was used for the banner.

If you followed the news last year, you'll know that Snyder had to quit working on the Justice League following the suicide of his daughter. Joss Whedon was then hired to take over the project, and though Snyder still got sole director credit, the final film was a far cry from his original version.

Though he hasn't outright stated it, it looks like Snyder is not a fan of what happened with his work. He even revealed a few months ago that he still hadn't seen the theatrical cut of Justice League. Fans have been demanding for a year that WB release the ‘Snyder cut' of the movie, but based on reports, the cut is just some sad fanboy pipe dream… or is it?

Will we get a Snyder Cut? For now, it looks like WB is just focusing on the future of the franchise. While I am part of the fanbase that wants to see the original Snyder version, I'm also up for getting over mistakes and moving forward.
