Zack Snyder Shares Sad Superman Post After Henry Cavill's Exit

Now that Henry Cavill's DCEU future is unclear, fans have been sharing their thoughts about his legacy as Superman. While there's still a chance for him to stay in the role, many feel that it's slight and he will probably go focus on his upcoming role in The Witcher. Zack Snyder, the first person to have ever directed Cavill as Clark Kent in Man of Steel, has shared an old storyboard that perfectly describes his thoughts.

Snyder went to Vero, like he always does, and shared a storyboard of Superman flying with "It's not an S" written in the post. Fans know that the crest stands for hope and it's clear that Snyder is sad that the Superman he directed might not be appearing in future films.

The two technically started the DCEU together so it will be sad knowing that future films might not have them. Hopefully, Cavill and Warner Bros. work things out or reach an agreement that benefits both parties. It's still quite the shock that Cavill might not be Superman since Justice League promised a much brighter future for the blue boy scout.

Reports are claiming that Warner Bros. is going to focus on the heavily rumored Supergirl movie but are also trying to find a possible replacement for Cavill.
