Zack Snyder Reveals Alternate Ending Scene for Justice League

Zacy Snyder used to be at the very center of the DCEU, but after Justice League, his involvement with the franchise is now up to question. He's been giving all these small reveals here and there on Vero, and just recently he confirms this alternate ending for Justice League.

It's worth noting that the original ending didn't have the League together when Steppenwolf was sucked into the Boom Tube. I'm guessing this cut would have had the League looking into it and catching a glimpse of Darkseid in the other end.

For now WB has seemingly dropped the storyline that was kicked off with Batman v Superman. Heck, we don't know if we're ever going to get another Justice League movie at all. The way it looks, the studio is focusing on establishing solo heroes first before going back and having them do a team-up film.

Personally, I would prefer if they didn't give so much reverence to Darkseid in the DCEU. If anything, he's just the DC version of Thanos. If the DC were to have a clash, I would suggest that they go the Flashpoint timeline; it has the involvement of all the heroes, and stakes couldn't be higher. They wouldn't even have to worry about Ben Affleck committing since the Batman in that story is Thomas Wayne.

As it stands, the DCEU has five movies down the line, Aquaman, Shazam!, Joker, Birds of Prey, and Wonder Woman 1984. We know that a lot more are being planned, but it's just a matter of waiting for official announcements. Fingers crossed new DC head Walter Hamada knows what he's doing.

Aquaman comes out Dec. 21.
