Zack Snyder's Justice League is Coming to the Big Screen

Last year, Zack Snyder's Justice League made its triumphant premiere on HBO Max after years of petitions from fans who have been wanting to see director Zack Snyder's definitive version of the 2017 film. So far, you can only watch the film through streaming or home video. Now, you can also finally see the film on the big screen soon.

As reported by ComicBook.com, Kevin Smith announced during a recent episode of his Fatman Beyond podcast that Zack Snyder's Justice League will have a theatrical screening at Smodcastle Cinemas in New Jersey in 2023. This will mark the first time that the film will be screened in theaters.

"Zack Snyder is coming in the new year, and he was like, 'I've never shown Justice League in a theater once,' so I was like 'brother, bring it!'," Smith said.

The screening is part of the "Directly Responsible: Face-to-Face With Filmmakers At Smodcastle" series of screenings and Q&A sessions which will feature appearances of filmmakers such as Snyder, Joe and Anthony Russo, and Jason Reitman.

The series is one of Smith's initiatives for his newly-purchased theater in order to make it a destination for fans. He is also planning a series of screenings focusing on John Hughes, films produced in New Jersey, and many more.

Considering that Zack Snyder's Justice League is only available through viewing options at home, it is certainly exciting to see that fans will have an opportunity to see the film on the big screen and experience it with the best audio and video system possible.

While this is not an indication that the film will get a wide theatrical release at some point, it is a winning scenario for fans who are living nearby the area and might want to relieve it on the big screen.
