Zack Snyder is Surrounded by Skeletons While Filming Army of the Dead

After not realizing his vision for Justice League after a tragedy, Zack Snyder looks like he's poised for a comeback with his upcoming Army of the Dead film. While it's hard to say what kind of horror movie this is going to be, knowing Snyder's style, it's going to be a beautiful-looking film with a lot of slow-motion and crazy action scenes.

The fact that Snyder has shared an image of himself surrounded by skeletons kind of proves our point.

From what we can tell in this image, it's clear that Snyder is finding his groove back now that the director's returning to his horror roots. We can't really say much about the movie since barely anything about it has been revealed but let's hope Snyder hits this one out of the park to show everyone that he doesn't just make bad superhero movies.

Okay, that might sound a bit harsh. Snyder's superhero movies actually have a lot of fans, with some of them ferociously defending Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, despite the fact that it's a terrible film (not sorry). At the least, he has a unique visual style and was attempting to tell a deep superhero story. He just failed in every way possible and made certain scenes sillier than they should be.

Ahem.

Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead doesn't have a release date yet. It stars Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Garret Dillahunt, Ana de la Reguera and Chris D'Elia.
