Zachary Levi On Which Prop He Stole From The Set of Shazam!

DC fans aren't the only ones hyped for Shazam!. Zachary Levi's also pretty excited for his upcoming standalone film to hit the big screen and the Captain Marvel star's also been having a lot of fun in production, swiping a little prop to help him remind himself that he's the DC Extended Universe's Shazam.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Levi talked a little bit about Shazam! and during his interview with the publication, the DCEU star revealed that he had managed to steal off a little prop to remind him of his time as Warner Brother's Shazam.

"I'm wondering if I can talk about the thing I took from set. It's a person," he joked. "No, there's some signage, some neon signage in the movie that when you see it you will know what that signage is, and it just struck me as really funny and awesome and I thought if that gets to live anywhere I want it to like, be in my garage or something so that's what I took. But with the understanding that should the production need it for any reason, I have to ship it back or we'll just build a new one, I don't know."

No one knows which neon signage Levi managed to bring home, though fans do know the trailer for Shazam! had a whole lot of neon signs for the actor to steal.

Sneaking out one of Shazam's suits would have probably meant a whole lot more to Levi, but then again, the production probably wouldn't have allowed the actor to get away with a significantly important item like an entire costume.

Of course, it's no surprise that Levi snuck some memento from the set. Not only did the actor seem to have so much fun during production, stealing little mementos seems like a habit of comic book actors. Ben Affleck did it in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ( he took home a Batarang) and Ryan Reynolds did it in Deadpool (he stole an entire Deadpool outfit).

Shazam! is scheduled to premiere on April 5, 2019.
