Yumi’s Cells Episode 12 sees Goo Woong contemplating how to answer Yumi’s question about getting married. In the end, Yumi brushes off the question after seeing that Goo Woong seems uncomfortable with it.
Goo Woong is not financially stable at the moment and he doesn’t want to burden Yumi. He had to sell his apartment so his company could survive, which forced him to live at Yumi’s house.
On the other hand, Yumi was having a cup of coffee at the usual cafe when she witnessed Bobby’s girlfriend breaking up with him. She took the expensive couple ring he had left at the cafe.
Bobby knew that it was Yumi who got the ring as the cafe staff said a regular took it. Yumi returned the ring to Bobby and the latter immediately threw it in the trash can.
Meanwhile, Yumi found out that Ugi was having a drink with Goo Woong and suggested she tag along. On her way out, she bumps into Bobby. Ruby also joined them and invited Bobby to come with them.
Ugi fetched Goo Woong and he sat beside Bobby in the car. The two had an awkward introduction.
Ruby suggested they have wine at her cousin’s bar. They had a few drinks and when Goo Woong and Yumi were planning to leave, Ruby caught on and opened more bottles.
Goo Woong was too drunk that he almost blacked out. The last thing he saw was Yumi and Bobby being too close to each other.
In the marketing department, it seems that the other assistant manager kept on bugging Yumi that she has a secret relationship with Bobby, which she immediately denied. However, Goo Woong is also bothered about Yumi’s closeness to Bobby.
Yumi’s Cells Episode 12 also highlights a huge change in Yumi and Goo Woong’s relationship. Goo Woong decides to move out of Yumi’s place, which the latter believed was because of her question about marriage.
