YOUNITE will soon grace the K-pop music scene with their talents and visuals!
Brand New Music will officially welcome their new boy group years after debuting its first idol group, AB6IX. Although the agency has been around since 2003, it was only until 2019 when it expanded its company and welcomed a group into its rosters.
As of press time, the label’s artists include Bumkey, Kanto, AB6IIX, Han Dong Geun, Hanhae, Lee Eun Sang, Verbal Jint, and Yenjamin, to name a few. Its most recent artist is Lee Eunsang, a former member of X1, who debuted under the agency in August 2020.
This year, Brand New Music will finally offer their brand new boy group: YOUNITE.

YOUNITE Confirms Upcoming Debut in New Teaser
On Friday, YOUNITE finally shared a teaser of their debut EP, YOUNI-BIRTH. The same teaser revealed that the album would be released on April 20 at 6:00 p.m. KST.
The same poster has the words “WE ARE CONNECTED,” the meaning of which has since been discussed in a previous teaser on February 14. At that time, Brand New Music announced the group’s name and explained that YOUNITE (pronounced like the word unite) means “YOU AND I: we are connected.”

Before the trailer’s release, YOUNITE dropped a surprising dance video that featured nine members dancing to choreography made by Koosung Jung. The dancer, who appears in 1Million Dance Studio, previously worked with other K-pop groups like NCT and THE BOYZ.
YOUNITE’s debut came months after the agency revealed that the group was scheduled to debut sometime in 2022.
About YOUNITE Members
YOUNITE will officially have nine members: Eunho, Steve, Hyunseung, Eunsang, Hyungseok, Woono, DEY, Kyungmun, and Sion.
Some of them are no longer new in the entertainment industry. For what it’s worth, Eunsang was a former member of X1, while DEY once participated in the High School Rapper 4. Kyungmun, meanwhile, is a former contestant of LOUD.
