Young Sheldon Season 5 explores a romance storyline between George (Lance Barber) and Brenda (Melissa Peterman).
George and Brenda have been going and back forth on whether they should act on their feelings for each other or not.
The two characters never explicitly said that they like each other, but it doesn’t take a genius to figure out what’s going on between the two.
What Happened To Brenda's Hair?
However, Screen Rant noticed something else about Brenda in Young Sheldon Season 5.
The publication noted that Brenda’s hair suddenly looked much longer in the recent episode even though only a few days passed from when she was at the pub to when Meemaw (Annie Potts) confronted her.
In Young Sheldon Season 5 Episode 1, Brenda sported a shoulder-length bob, but in the next episode, she sported mid-length hair.
It’s impossible for Brenda’s hair to have grown so long in such a short period of time. So, it’s evident that the character is wearing extensions in the more recent installments.
There’s no major explanation for Brenda’s hair narrative-wise. But the publication said that it’s possible that Young Sheldon Season 5 Episode 1 was filmed right after the finale episode from Season 4; that’s why Brenda’s hair was much shorter.
And Young Sheldon Season 5 Episode 2 was filmed more recently; that’s why Brenda’s is much longer.
Will George, Brenda Have An Affair In Young Sheldon Season 5?
Fans of The Big Bang Theory already know that George and Mary will eventually call it quits because of the patriarch’s infidelity.
However, it’s still unclear if George will cheat on his wife with Brenda.
But regardless if George will have an affair with Brenda or not, one thing’s for sure: the latter will be featured in more episodes of Young Sheldon Season 5.
What Is The Plot For Young Sheldon Season 5 Episode 3?
Young Sheldon Season 5 Episode 3, titled Potential Energy and Hooch on a Parke Bench, will see Georgie (Montana Jordan) upsetting his family with his decision to quit school.
In the trailer for this week’s episode, George and Mary (Zoe Perry) argue over Georgie and the latter’s decision to drop out of school.
Sheldon (Iain Armitage) overhears his parents talking and urges them to focus on him. After all, he’s the smartest one in the family.
Elsewhere in Episode 3, Sheldon tries to convince Dr. Sturgis (Wallace Shawn) to return to the university.
