Netflix's hit show, You, has returned for the first part of its ffourth season. The much anticipated show has returned with new characters on board just like its previous seasons where Joe Goldberg (played by Penn Badgley) starting over again after a murderous spree.
In You Season 4, however, things get a bit different as Joe starts over in London. And of course, this brings us the question of who the new characters of the show are. We'll introduce these characters in this guide:
Professor Jonathan Moore
To start with, Joe Goldberg has adapted a new identity along with his move to London. The serial killer is no longer known as Joe, but as Jonathan Moore, who is now a literature professor at a university.
In his time in London, he gets introduced to the Oxford Circle, an exclusive group of friends who spend their time at the British University. Although Joe hates people such as the ones in the Oxford Circle, his new identity as Professor Moore must learn to adapt and get along with these affluent members of society.
But who are the people in this circle? Meet the new cast of characters in You Season 4:
Malcolm
In his move to London, Jonathan meets Malcolm (played by Stephen Hagan), a fellow literature teacher. Even though he's not really a member of the Oxford Circle, he is a welcomed presence in the group since he is the boyfriend of Kate (played by Charlotte Ritchie).
Malcolm befriends Jonathan and helps him find an apartment right next to his.
Kate
Kate is a fierce and focused gallery manager, who is assumed to be Jonathan's subject of obsession in this season. While she is a member of the Oxford Circle, she's the only one who built her own fortune instead of being able to inherit her money from her parents.
Lady Phoebe
Next up is Lady Phoebe (played by Tilly Keeper), who is known as London's "It Girl." Even though she's a rich socialite, she is known for having a kind heart.
Adam
Lady Phoebe is dating Adam (played by Lukas Gage), a wealthy American from an East Coast family. Although he is filthy rich, he isn't exactly the brightest man in the room. Compared to the other members of the Oxford Circle, Adam welcomes Jonathan in the group.
Rhys
Jonathan's favorite member of the Oxford Circle is Rhys (played by Ed Speelers), who remains humble despite his vast fortune. In his childhood, Rhys grew up in poverty. He only learned of his rich history when he discovered he was an heir to a British Duke.
Rhys is an established author, which explains why Jonathan enjoys sharing a conversation with him.
Roald
Roald (played by Ben Wiggins) is another member of the Oxford Circle who hails from an aristocratic family. Since he has been a good friend of Kate's from before the circle, he is protective of her. He is violent at times and believes that the rich should be able to force their will on others.
Simon
Hailing from a rich Chinese tech mogul, Simon (played by Aidan Cheng) loves art and pretends he is a tortured artist. Fortunately for him, his father's vast fortune allows him to stay in the art galleries.
Sophie
On the other hand, Simon's sister, Sophie (played by Niccy Lin), has a better grasp of her life. With her father's help, Sophie was able to study marketing and administration. This allows her to become an Instagram influencer who earns money by wearing the products of her brand endorsers.
Gemma
Gemma (played by Eve Austin) is an entitled socialite who often confuses speaking her truths with being a racist and a classist.
Blessing
Another member of the Oxford circle is Blessing (played by Ozioa Whenu), who is a Nigerian Princess who is involved in pyramid schemes. She is quick to believe conspiracy theories without doing the necessary research to verify these.
Connie
Connie (played by Dario Coates) is a boring person. He is often too wasted to care what anyone thinks. The only thing we know about him is that he loves horse racing.
Nadia
And finally, we have Nadia (played by Amy-Leigh Hickman), who is not part of the circle. She is a literature major under Jonathan's class, who earns herself the title as Jonathan's favorite student.
