Fans of Netflix's You won't have to wait much longer.

On Monday morning, Netflix has announced that the third season of You will premiere on the streaming platform on October 15. Based on the psychological thriller novels by Caroline Kepnes, You follows bookstore manager turned serial killer Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) he pursues love interests.

The official release date was revealed at the end of the You Season 3 teaser featuring Joe Goldberg making a white cake while talking about being a father, revealing that his son's name will be Henry. It's already expected that Joe and Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) will have a baby, but don't expect Joe to settle down.

It's going to be a bloody season, and fans are excited to see how Joe and Love's relationship will develop, and how the new characters will come into play.

Speaking to TV Line, Badgley previously said that Joe and Love are "not soulmates. He's afraid of her at the end. Basically, it's set up for season 3 in a way where they would be each other's arch nemesis."
