Yoo Ah In has a unique way to maintain his toned physique.

During his guest appearance in I Live Alone back in 2020, the award-winning star shares a glimpse of his daily life.

Interestingly, viewers witnessed how chill and relaxing Yoo Ah In’s day is if he is not on the set or does not have a schedule on a specific day.

In a report cited by Hello Kpop, the 35-year-old actor likes to spend his time on the rooftop and sunbathe with his cats.

Nature’s sound such as birds chirping sets the mood, and makes the actor feel relaxed.

His guest appearance in I Live Alone also featured Yoo Ah In’s unique exercise trick.

Yoo Ah In Workout Routine

Instead of spending hours at the gym, Yoo Ah In workout includes mental exercise through meditation.

In one of the scenes, he revealed why he opted to focus and take care of his mental health.

“This is an exercise I started recently. It became famous because Doctor Strange does it,” he explained.

However, when asked by the host if meditating is much easier than a regular physical workout, Yoo Ah In pointed out that “it’s not as easy as it looks.”

“We typically do a lot of forceful exercises using our body. But out of all the workouts I’ve tried, staying still is the hardest,” he explained, saying that he spends an hour meditating.

Benefits of Meditation

Mental health is as important as physical health and one way to take care of it is through meditation or an act of concentration using any of the five senses.

This activity helps give a person a sense of peace and balance, benefiting the emotional well-being and overall health.

According to the Mayo Clinic, it could also help manage stress, increase self-awareness, focus, reduce negative emotions, lower resting heart rate and blood pressure and improve sleep quality.
