Yellowjackets Co-Creator Teases Season 2 Bonus Episode Coming Soon
Ashley Lyle responded to a fan who tweeted about their plans to wait for the Yellowjackets Season 2 bonus episode. The series co-creator quickly debunked the rumor that a new episode is streaming on Friday night.
"Noooo. Go to bed! Get some rest!" Lyle wrote.
"There will be a bonus episode between seasons, but I love you guys and I don’t want y’all to lose sleep thinking it’s tonight," she added.
This is a bit of good and bad news. It's great to know that Yellowjackets Season 2 is getting a bonus episode. However, it's still unclear when it will premiere.
Ashley Lyle's tweet only confirms that the bonus episode will be streamed between the second and third seasons. Since it is still unknown when Yellowjackets Season 3 will premiere, the wait could be a long one.
Although we're still not sure when we'll get to see the Season 2 bonus episode. However, it might be one last chance to see Natalie after the events in the season finale.
In the final episode of Yellowjackets Season 2, Natalie was accidentally killed by her own best friend Misty who was trying to inject Lisa with poison. Although this could mean that Natalie (or just Juliette Lewis, at least) will not be back in the third season, fans are hoping that the bonus episode will focus on the character.
Yellowjackets Season 3 was officially announced in December 2022. However, the third season of the series has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
