Ryan Reynolds broke the internet in half this week when he unveiled a promotional video for his upcoming film Free Guy featuring the one and only Deadpool who officially made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. In the said "reaction video", Wade Wilson is joined by one of Thor's trusty allies Korg, solidifying Deadpool's MCU arrival and after seeing the two team up in the clip, the entire world of social media went absolutely mental.

We still don't know what the future holds for the fourth-wall-breaking mutant but it looks like Marvel Studios has huge plans for the anti-hero ahead of the X-Men's official MCU debut. Speaking of the mutants, Reynolds' close friend and internet sparring partner Hugh Jackman is one of the people delighted about Mr. Pool's grand MCU crossover.

On Instagram, the Wolverine actor shared his excitement by commenting on the Free Guy promo video Ryan posted on his official page but not without poking fun at the Canadian actor. After noticing that the video didn't include a single mention of Logan, Jackman jokingly said: "Wow! 4:12 and no mention of me. DP your therapy is working!!!"

It's a damn shame that we may never get to see Deadpool and Wolverine cross paths in the MCU but with the multiversal war about to kick off, the chances of the two mutants facing off for one last time are actually high. Now, going back to DP himself, there's no doubt that the entire landscape of the billion-dollar franchise is about to change now that he's finally part of Earth-616. It'll be interesting though how Wade's fourth-wall-breaking antics will translate in the MCU.

Deadpool 3 is in active development.
