Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds pulled a marvelous surprise this week when the fourth-wall-breaking anti-hero finally made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the most Deadpool way possible. Yesterday, Reynolds set the entire world of social media on fire when he unveiled a reaction video to promote his upcoming film Free Guy, a project which was originally going to drop last year. The said video sees Mr. Pool teaming up with the only "available" MCU character and one of Thor's best buddies Korg.

Unsurprisingly, the said promotional material for Free Guy broke the internet in half, and while Deadpool 3 is still a few years away from us, the official confirmation that Reynolds is now part of the billion-dollar film and television franchise brought nothing but excitement and delight to a lot of fans who have been patiently waiting to see how Deadpool makes his MCU arrival.

As it stands, very little is known about Deadpool 3 but those who are worried that the character would be "watered down" in Disney's family-friendly Marvel universe, Marvel Studios has already confirmed that the third film will still be getting an R-rated treatment so yeah, fans still win in the end.

Free Guy finally hits cinemas this August. Meanwhile, Marvel Studios' Deadpool 3 is under development.
