X-Men: Dark Phoenix Star Sophie Turner Wants To Work With The MCU’s Thor

There's a lot riding on X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The film is going to mark the end of the X-Men franchise under Fox with the franchise moving towards the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, fans aren't the only ones hoping to see the X-Men make their way into the MCU. X-Men: Dark Phoenix star Sophie Turner is also pretty excited to head to the MCU, though it's very likely that her version of Jean Grey won't be part of whatever Marvel has planned for the mutants.

Speaking in an interview with Rotten Tomatoes, the Game of Thrones star revealed which character in the MCU she'd want her version of Jean Grey to team up with if she ever had the chance to join Marvel. Her pick among the MCU roster: Marvel's Asgardian God of Thunder, Thor (Chris Hemsworth).

"Brother Hammer. Thor," Turner said, echoing the same sentiments as her Dark Phoenix castmate, Jessica Chastain "Anyone would go Thor."

Thor has been a fan-favorite character. Fans loved the Asgardian God of Thunder and his antics in the Thor solo film franchise, especially in Thor: Ragnarok where the character received a massive overhaul in terms of personality and wit. Fans couldn't help but sympathize with Thor in Avengers: Infinity War. After all, Odinson lost everything in the film – he lost his father, his brother, his planet, his people.

In Avengers: Endgame, Thor was a loveable castout. Fans couldn't help but gush over fat Thor.

Right now we're not quite sure whether or not Thor will make his way to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, or whether Turner will ever have a chance to be part of the MCU. Let's just wait and see.

Avengers: Endgame is currently screening in cinemas.
