X-Men: Apocalypse’s Psylocke Isn’t Going To Be In Dark Phoenix

X-Men: Dark Phoenix might have a whole lot of popular mutants in it, but it looks like X-Men: Apocalypse's Psylocke is going to stay on the bench for this one.

Speaking in a recent interview with ET Canada, Munn has just confirmed that Psylocke won't be taking any part in Jean Grey's (Sophie Turner) story when X-Men: Dark Phoenix makes its way to the big screen. Though the actress doesn't really say much because of the fear that she'd get in trouble with Fox if she does, Munn says that she's been busy filming The Predator and has had no time in her schedule to work on Dark Phoenix.

"I can't say anything because last time I said a little bit they sent me a note. But I'm not in it," Munn said in her discussion with the entertainment news outlet.

This is directly contradicting Munn's previous report. Back in September 2017, Munn told the press that Psylocke would definitely be making her way back in Dark Phoenix, revealing the film as a "two-parter" from Fox.

Now, we know that Munn won't be participating in the project and that Dark Phoenix isn't going to be the first installment in a two-part movie. Sure, Simon Kinberg might want Dark Phoenix to launch a new set of X-Men movies, but with Disney's acquisition of Fox, that seems highly unlikely.

Right now, Marvel fans are looking forward to seeing the X-Men, Fantastic Four, Deadpool and all of Fox's other mutant characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix is set to premiere on June 7, 2019.
