The 11th chapter of The Mandalorian finally shed some light on all the mystery surrounding WWE superstar Sasha Banks' intriguing character. The first official trailer featured a brief shot of Banks wearing a black robe and fans immediately theorized what her role in the series would be. Some believed she was one of the Sith worshippers from The Rise of Skywalker, but the most persistent rumor that has been circulating is that Banks will play the live-action version of Sabine Wren.

Turns out both theories were actually false as Sasha is playing a new StarWars character named Koska Reeves, a Mandalorian soldier working closely with Bo-Katan Kryze played by the returning Katee Sackhoff.

Ahead of the release of the episode titled "The Heiress", Banks, who was credited in the show under her real name Mercedes Varnado took to Twitter to celebrate the huge milestone in her career outside of the wrestling world. She simply wrote: "Mercedes, you did it!"

The episode just premiered today and it's still too early to tell if the fans loved her character or they didn't care for it at all but it's still a huge step forward in her career and would definitely open a lot of doors for her should she considering jumping ship to Hollywood. And let's be real here, can The Mandalorian do anything wrong at this point? The show has consistently delivered since its first season and I wouldn't be surprised at all if Sasha's character becomes a staple in the Star Wars lore. Let's see what happens with Koska Reeves in the coming episodes.

That said, The Mandalorian Season 2 is streaming on Disney+.
