Wreck-It Ralph 2 Clip Introduces Ralph and Vanellope to Yesss

While some people are waiting for the release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald this month, others are looking way back for the premiere of Wreck-It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet. The film will introduce us to some new characters, one of them being Yesss, and we have a clip that has Ralph and Vanellope meeting her.

It's said that Yesss is an algorithm that works for the site Buzz Tube, and this video confirms to us why she would be interested in Ralph in the first place. As it turns out, Ralph goes viral after a stint with Shanks in the Slaughter Race game, and Yesss will be taking over to push up his popularity.

There's also some subtle hints as to the relationship of characters in the film as Ralph is clearly jealous that Vanellope would idolize Shanks over him. I also have a lingering feeling that Yesss will turn out to be some kind of villain, despite it being in her code to just promote trending materials.

I'm honestly excited to go back to the world of Wreck-It Ralph. The first film was so amazing and inventive that I'm curious to see what kind of expansion the internet would bring to the lore. Besides some video game characters from the first film, we're also going to be seeing some interesting cameos in this sequel—particularly from some Disney-owned IP like Star Wars and Marvel Studios.
