World Trigger or WorTri is a manga series that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. It was eventually transferred to Jump Square and can be compiled in 23 tankobon volumes. Viz Media has a license over the English version that was released in North America. It follows the story of Yuma Kuga, a mysterious white-haired transferee. He moved to Mikado City to hide from the Border.
An anime adaptation was made in 2016 that was followed by the second season in 2021. With the success of the first two seasons, Toei Animation announced that the third season will be released in October 2021.

It was announced that World Trigger Season 3 will release its first episode on October 9, 2021. It will be part of the Fall 2021 anime. The upcoming season will be a split-cour which means that there will be breaks in between the release.
In terms of the flow of the story, if World Trigger Season 2 ended around Chapter 160, it is highly possible that the story will continue from there, in the middle of the B-Rank Battles arc. This means that Hyuse will return to Tamakoma's base to become their fourth member. Also, instead of disguising as Cronin's son, Hyuse will act as the nephew.
Fans should also note that the creator, Daisuke Ashihara, is taking breaks because of his health issues. He started taking small hiatuses from 2016 to 2018. By 2019, he took two breaks equivalent to one month each. The same scenario happened in 2021, and there was even news that they thought he had COVID-19 which thankfully he doesn't. There is a chance that it will take time before Season 4 will be released which is why fans should anticipate this upcoming season.
For those who are interested to watch the series, Crunchyroll will be offering World Trigger 3 once it is released. Although there is still no news when the English dubbed version will be made, fans can still watch the series as it has English subtitles. Crunchyroll also offers a free trial period for those who are new to the platform.
