Wonder Woman Is RottenTomatoes’ First Fresh DC Movie Sitting On A 97% Rating

It took Warner Bros a while, but we finally have one — a good DC movie. A lot of early reviews for Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman are already coming out, and the movie is currently considered as the highest rating DC movie on RottenTomatoes since The Dark Knight.

As of now, Wonder Woman's rating has beaten out movies like Marvel's Iron Man (94), Avengers (92), and the first Guardians of the Galaxy (91). The other DC movies have all been rated rotten with Man of Steel getting a score of 55, Batman v Superman with 28, and Suicide Squad at 25.

Personally, I think the big boost in the ratings is because of the fact that this is the first DC movie that people can agree is good. Some other reviewers have been saying their praises about the movie, but they have admitted that the project isn't perfect, and starts faltering when it tries to conform to regular superhero movie tropes.

For now, I think it's best if we all just wait for the movie to release to everyone else in the audience. Early screenings for the first three DC movies were also met with positive reviews, but they were torn apart by everyone else once they got released in local cinemas. I'm betting Wonder Woman won't stay on top for long.

Either way, I am excited. The movie has been praising Gadot and Pine's performances, and says that Patty Jenkins has delivered a spectacular movie.

Wonder Woman comes out June 2.
