Marvel has its post credits sequences, DC has its bonus epilogues. Warner Bros. has been building the DC Extended Universe by releasing epilogues of its various superhero films online, and the latest video shows Etta Candy (Lucy Davis) gathering the boys for a secret mission.
The full epilogue scene for Patty Jenkin's Wonder Woman has just recently been released online by Yahoo! Movies official Twitter account and in it we get to see the bonus epilogue from the film's Blu Ray release. Centered around Etta Candy, Steve Trevor's (Chris Pine) secretary delivers a "top secret" mission to the American intelligence agent and his comrades.
"The war is over, but the good fight goes on. After the bombings in Liège along the western Belgian front, the powers at be found something," Etta explains. "It's very old. It's very powerful. They want us to recover the artifact and deliver it to the Americans. I mean, we don't want it in the wrong hands, do we?"
Though there isn't any confirmation regarding the artifact that Etta's referring to in the epilogue, fans are guessing that this item might be one of the Mother Boxes that will play a large role in Justice League. Steppenwolf and his horde of Parademons are heading towards earth to collect these powerful Apokalips-originated devices, and it's up to the Justice League to stop them.
Justice League hits cinemas November 17, 2017.
