Wonder Woman 1984 has just been released in selected theaters and on HBO Max but it looks like Gal Gadot is already looking towards the future. The Justice League actress has just confirmed that she is eager to work on Wonder Woman 3 but for an interesting reason.
Gadot recently spoke to Variety about Wonder Woman 1984 and not surprisingly, she was asked if she is ready to start filming for a third DC Extended Universe sequel. Interestingly, Gadot stated that she is in the dark when it comes to plans about Wonder Woman 3.
"I don't know. We don't talk about it yet. We have no idea," Gadot said. She then pointed out that it is very possible and she would be interested in working with director Patty Jenkins in the third movie.
"You never know. I would love to do another one if the story is great and with Patty of course. But I don't know. We'll have to wait and see," Gadot stated. She then shared the reason why she wants to do Wonder Woman 3.
"I want to see a third movie to have a nice closure, a trilogy," Gadot confessed.
That certainly makes sense considering that most stories are best told in trilogies. For now, Warner Bros. has not yet confirmed plans for a third Wonder Woman film. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
