Although the Gal Gadot-led sequel was originally set for a fully theatrical release earlier this year, Warner Bros. has decided to give it a digital release as well. Wonder Woman 1984 is screening in limited theaters as well as HBO Max starting December 25.

Fans were initially worried that the film would only be available for a certain fee on HBO Max. However, the streaming service has confirmed that you can watch Wonder Woman 1984 at no added cost.
Take note that Wonder Woman 1984 is only available for free to US subscribers. In addition to that, it will only be free to stream for 31 days from its release.
For now, Warner Bros. and HBO Max has not revealed whether fans will need to pay a fee to watch it on the streaming service after the first month. However, there is a possibility that Wonder Woman 1984 will be removed from the listing 31 days after its official release.
Wonder Woman 1984 is directed by Patty Jenkins and brings back Gadot as Diana Prince as well as Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. The sequel also introduces Kristen Wiig as Cheetah and The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord. The film is now available for streaming on HBO Max.
