Wonder Woman 2 Production Sheet Lists Chris Pine

It looks like Chris Pine might make actually make an appearance in Wonder Woman 2.

Cosmic Book News managed to find the Wonder Woman sequel's production sheet online, and not only will does the sheet reveal the film's start of production this May, it also offers a list of actors involved in the film, one of which includes Chris Pine.

Along with Pine in the sheet's list of actors are Gal Gadot, Ewen Bremner, Said Taghmaoiu, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal. Pine's name on the sheet list is rather surprising. The Wonder Woman star has yet to be officially confirmed in the film after his character, Steve Trevor, sacrificed his life for the greater good at the end of the first Wonder Woman movie.

If Pine is to return, it's very likely that Wonder Woman 2 will be featuring the American spy in a few flashbacks in the film.

Here's a description for Wonder Woman 2 included in the production sheet:

"The sequel will be a period piece, with Princess Diana facing off against the Soviet Union during the 1980s and will feature Barbara Anne Minerva (Wiig), a British anthropologist who becomes the avatar of the cheetah god after locating the lost city of Urzkartagan and stumbling into the middle of an ancient ritual."

Based on the film's description, it looks like Wonder Woman 2 will be going with Barbara Minerva's original backstory and not the one carved out by the New 52.

Wonder Woman 2 is scheduled to premiere on November 1, 2019.
