Wonder Woman 1984’s Patty Jenkins Teases The First Trailer Release

Warner Brothers might not have expected much from Wonder Woman before it premiered back in 2017, but the film ended up being a major success for the DC Extended Universe. Not only did Gal Gadot's first standalone movie as Diana Prince rake in overwhelmingly positive reviews, it also brought in a fine lump of $821 million USD at the global box office.

Now, the studio is eager to release a Wonder Woman sequel and it looks like director Patty Jenkins is hinting at a trailer release. There hasn't been that much news about Wonder Woman 1984 the past few months, but this week, Jenkins released a new look for her upcoming DCEU movie. Taking to Twitter, the filmmaker posted a new image giving us a brand new look at Diana in DC's new comic book period piece.

Not only does Jenkins' post give us a new look at Wonder Woman, but it also gives us a hint at when to expect the first trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 to release. The filmmaker reveals Warner Brother's plans to skip Hall H at this year's San Diego Comic Con, teasing something to reveal where "we can just...barely...wait..."

Check out the image down here:

"By now you've heard: WB isn't going to Hall H this year. We're so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official #WW84 campaign in full-- But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait…," Jenkins wrote in her post.

The only question now is when Warner Brothers plans to release the trailer.

Wonder Woman 1984 is set to release on June 05, 2020.
