Wonder Woman 1984 Ropes In Fans With New Promo Image

DC might not have made much of an impact during 2019 but it looks like the company is planning to rebound in the realm of movies in a big way. Joaquin Phoenix's Joker movie will be coming out this October, making fans of the Dark Knight's enemy fairly excited. Then there is Wonder Woman 1984, the sequel to 2017's well-received blockbuster, which will be coming out next year.

We have seen a few promotional images here and there but DC and Warner Bros have yet to release a trailer for the movie. Since it's coming out in 2020, we'll probably have to wait for a comic-con or two before we see some exclusive footage of the movie. At the least, we do have a new image of Gal Gadot rocking the Wonder Woman uniform while the movie's logo is in the background.

It's far from the most evocative image we will be getting from the film but it does reveal her cool-looking costume. Previous images have shown us that Steve Trevor is alive, which has given us mixed feelings, and Kristen Wiig before she becomes Cheetah, which is an interesting casting decision, to say the least.

Fans will be able to see Wonder Woman 1984 on June 5, 2020.
