Wonder Woman 1984 Leaves HBO Max This January

If you haven't watched Wonder Woman 1984 yet, you might want to plan to do that by this weekend because the DC superhero blockbuster is leaving HBO Max soon.

Wonder Woman 1984 will be leaving HBO Max on Sunday, January 24. This was confirmed when Warner Bros. announced that the Patty Jenkins-directed movie would be simultaneously released in theaters and the streaming service HBO Max. The studio announced that Wonder Woman 1984 will only be streaming on HBO Max for 30 days; since the film started streaming on HBO Max on Christmas Day (Dec. 25, 2020), it's set to leave on January 24, 2021. Warner Bros. hasn't announced if the film will have a traditional digital release on-demand yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if they bring it back to HBO Max in the near future.

30 days may seem too fast for stream-only moviegoers but for a new movie exclusively premiering on a streaming platform and theaters, that's just about the same duration of many films in theaters. Thankfully, there's still about a week left before Wonder Woman 1984 leaves HBO Max, so if you're wondering what to watch this weekend, be sure to check this one out.

Even if you've already watched the film, I think it's good to re-watch Wonder Woman 1984 with clear answers as to what the kid wished for and what happened to Barbara Minerva, a.k.a. Cheetah at the end of the film.
