Wonder Woman 1984 Fans React to THAT Problematic Steve Trevor Scene


There is little doubt that one of the best things about Wonder Woman 1984 is the love story of Diana Prince and Steve Trevor. However, that still didn't stop fans from having strong reactions to a particular scene in the sequel that is being viewed as problematic.

In the film, Diana somehow brings back Steve through the Dreamstone, a mysterious artifact that makes a person's wishes come true but with a price. It is revealed that Steve's soul is the only thing that is brought back and that his soul would have to inhabit the body of another living man.

Although this is revealed to Diana right away, she still has sex with Steve. While some fans were not bothered by this idea, several others have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the scene and why it is problematic.

It's unclear if this will be addressed by Gal Gadot or director Patty Jenkins. However, people are clearly bothered by the idea that the man possibly not consenting to sex with Diana. Some have even pointed out that the situation was made worse when Diana later meets the same man and flirts with him at the end of the film.
