You'll have to wait until December before the Bumblebee movie will be released in theaters but at least you can enjoy playing the upcoming Transformers Trading Card Game before that.

Today, Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast have shared a preview for their Transformers Trading Card Game, which will be featured at San Diego Comic-Con.

The character cards included in the Autobots Starter Set and Booster Packs and twice the size of regular cards. Similar to the Transform mechanic in Magic: The Gathering, those cards have a bot mode and alt mode that can be switched by flipping the cards over. Your characters can also get enhanced in the form of Action and Upgrade cards.

"The TCG format lets us pull TRANSFORMERS characters from across the brand's massive history. From Bumblebee to Sunstorm – the game is digging deep into the TRANSFORMERS lore," said Drew Nolosco, TRANSFORMERS Trading Card Game Brand Manager, in a statement. "We can even focus on different aspects of the same character. Optimus Prime, for example, is immensely powerful in combat, but he's also a master tactician. The Transformers TCG will let players explore the characters' depth through engaging and tactical gameplay."

Just like other trading card games, the Transformers card game comes in different products. You can buy individual booster packs that each contains 1 Transformers character card and 7 battle cards from a pool of 40 character cards and 81 battle cards. They will be available on September 28.

There will also be an Autobots Starter Set that contains enough cards for two-player gameplay, and features popular characters like Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Red Alert, and Ironhide character cards. It will also be available on September 28.

Four cards for the Transformers Trading Card Game will be revealed in July with the Transformers Trading Card Game Convention Edition, which will exclusively be available in limited qualities at Comic-Con International 2018, Gen Con 2018 in Indianapolis and also at the Hasbro Toy Shop at HasbroToyShop.com (only available after the conventions).

Last week, the Magic: The Gathering SDCC exclusives were revealed, and they look great.
