Come the 1990s and 2000s, he mostly did independent movies while working to be a filmmaker.

He also tried his hand at directing commercials. He then reprised his role of Johnny in The Karate Kid revival series Cobra Kai.

Meanwhile, as Cobra Kai is now on its fifth season, there are talks that the series will soon come to an end.

In an interview with ComicBook, Zabka talked about the show's endgame, revealing there were already plans on how to end the series.

However, it remains to be seen how many seasons it will still have before it ends.

"Yeah, there's no endgame at all, we'll keep this thing for another ten seasons," he joked. "There's an endgame. Everything's pointing to a place on the map for sure. It's a matter of how many we're gonna get to do that, but there's definitely an endgame."

But when the show ends, Zabka teases a new movie series about to come, and it will be a trilogy.

"We're gonna end the series, and then I think we're gonna do a trilogy of films," he revealed.
