William Shatner Joins Mark Hamill in Asking for Carrie Fisher to Replace Trump’s Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

News had just come out that someone had completely destroyed Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Mark Hamill has gone on to say that he thinks someone like Carrie Fisher should have a star in Trump's place, and now Star Trek's William Shatner has heartily agreed.

This was Hamill's original Tweet:

And here's Shatner:

For now, no one knows what they can do about the situation. There have been some fans who have voiced out that Fisher definitely deserves her own star, but things could be a lot trickier than we're meant to understand.

Personally, I don't think the star means a thing at all, and it's only a way to build up publicity for the spot. After a seasoned career in Hollywood, only recently has Mark Hamill gotten the attention that he deserves from whoever runs the Walk of Fame committee. You can also say the same for Jeff Goldblum.

Though I would love to see Fisher get the attention she deserves, I think her legacy is more than just her name on a star. If you ask me, she doesn't really need it; but it would just be nice to have a reminder of her contributions to entertainment.

Will Fisher get her own star? We'll just have to wait and find out.
