Nene learns about Hanako-san of the Toilet, the ghost of a girl who hangs around the school bathrooms. It is said that if someone successfully summons her, she will grant them any wish.
Wanting her crush to reciprocate her feelings, Nene summons Hanako-san's spirit. It turns out that Hanako is actually a boy. She somehow ends up being tangled in the world of Hanako-kun as his assistant. The series takes us on a supernatural adventure that's just the right mix of comedy with a hint of depth and seriousness.
The first season of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun has 12 episodes. For veteran binge-watchers, one can easily finish this within a day. So a lot of fans have been left craving for more.
Will There Be a Season 2 of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun?
As of writing, there are no official updates or announcements yet regarding the second season of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun. Although considering how well-received the series was plus the good manga sales, picking up the second season might not be too far off.
The first season adapted until around Volume 7 of the manga. The manga is still currently ongoing with a total of 15 volumes so far. This means that there would most likely be enough content to cover for the second season. It's only been a year since the release of Season 1, so it's possible that an announcement won't be made until 2022 or even 2023. For now, we can only hope!
